Street dance classes for adults in Bucharest

Make new friends at adult street dance classes

Mixed group: coming soon

Lively and energetic, street dance brings together several urban dance styles that were born on the streets and in clubs, far from traditional dance studios. It has its roots in African American and Latin American culture and began to take shape in the ’70s. What sets it apart from formal dances, such as ballet or dance sport, is that it puts the emphasis on improvisation and interaction with the audience, and that it is less bound by strict rules or techniques. That's why street dance is constantly evolving and adapting, developing many styles and sub-styles over the years, such as locking, popping, breaking or hip-hop.

BloomArt street dance classes for adults invite you to express yourself freely through movement, whatever your level of experience. Whether you're taking your first steps in dance or want to polish your skills, at BloomArt you'll find a friendly atmosphere and a team of passionate instructors who will guide you with enthusiasm. At adult street dance classes you learn solo and group choreographies in a range of styles such as locking, popping, breaking, dancehall, waacking or hip-hop, all in an energetic, fun atmosphere.

Through street dance you train your coordination, motor skills and balance. What's more, you become part of a community of people who love dance, where friendships come easily.

So that it's easy for you to get to street dance lessons wherever you are, all adult street dance classes take place in our studio at Tăbăcarilor 14, in central Bucharest. The active group at the moment is Street Dance Lady Only; the mixed group will return soon.

Until then, the active group is Street Dance Lady Only, for women only, on Mondays and Wednesdays, 20:00–21:30. Discover the Lady Only class
