It's time to start a dance class

Are you caught up in the daily routine, with hours on end spent at the office and in traffic, while the weekend seems too short? Do you feel uncomfortable in the spotlight at parties, especially when it comes to dancing? Or maybe you're simply looking for new activities and new friends and want to explore your creative side?

If any of this sounds like you, we look forward to seeing you at BloomArt Academy dance classes for adults. Whatever your age, your experience or the feeling that dance isn't for you, you can start with simple steps. Dance gives you the chance to be yourself, to explore your qualities and creativity, and even to discover talents you didn't know you had.

Our trainers guide you with enthusiasm and patience, so that through dance you improve your coordination, gain confidence and enjoy moving. And because many of your classmates in the adult dance group have interests similar to yours, the dance studio is also a place where you can make new friends.

So that you can get to classes wherever you are, we chose a studio location in central Bucharest, at Tăbăcarilor 14. The active Street Dance Lady Only group meets in the evening; social dance and mixed Street Dance return soon.

Social Dance

Classic and elegant, social dance in its many variations is something you'll come across at parties and events, whether it's waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, salsa, bachata, mambo, samba or cha-cha-cha.

Street Dance Lady Only

The active women-only street dance group meets on Mondays and Wednesdays, 20:00–21:30, with Irina Florea.

Alina Oțelea

Co-founder and trainer

Alina has called the dance hall her second home since childhood, when she started dance sport.

9th place at the Under 21 Latin World Championship, Chișinău.
24th place in the WDSF Youth world ranking.
2012–2020 — finalist and medalist at international competitions on the World Dance Sport Federation circuit.

About Alina

Cătălin Oțelea

Co-founder and trainer

Even as a child, Cătălin had boundless energy, which he invested in several sports at a high level, among them salsa and dance sport.

2011–2014 — European champion and world vice-champion in salsa show, solo male.
2012–2020 — finalist and medalist at international competitions on the World Dance Sport Federation circuit.
2017 — WDSF Transylvanian Grand Prix: Rising Star Latin, 3rd place; Rising Star Standard, 6th place.

Irina Florea

Street dance trainer

Irina Florea is a dance instructor with more than 15 years of experience, specializing in the styles of the Street Dance family — Dancehall, Hip-Hop, and Waacking — and a graduate of the Bucharest School of Arts, with a major in Choreography.

2017 — 1st place, Street Groove Jam, Dancehall.
2017 — 1st place, World of Dance Romania.
2017 — 1st place, From Hunger to Fame.
