Would you like to learn to dance as a couple, but don't know where to start? At BloomArt social dance classes for adults, you learn to move together with a partner to a variety of rhythms: Latin American dances such as samba, cha-cha-cha or rumba, standard dances such as waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, slow fox and quickstep, as well as salsa, merengue, bachata and many more.

And on top of your new dance skills, you gain self-confidence, relaxation and a good mood. The beginner groups are designed for people who have never danced before, so that you can enjoy dancing at parties, weddings and events.

We don't have an active social dance group at the moment. You can write to us if you're interested in the next group; the schedule and prices will be announced once it forms.

Cătălin Oțelea

Even as a child, Cătălin had boundless energy, which he invested in several sports at a high level, among them salsa and dance sport. Together with Alina, he trains adults, performance athletes, and couples preparing their wedding dance.

He is drawn to sports and adventure in nature, and he is proud that he cycled all the way to Constanța and went cliff jumping in Malta. When he is not out in nature or in the studio, Cătă never says no to a gaming session, a good stand-up comedy show, or a read about science and technology.

National results

  • 2016 — National Dance Sport Championship, 10-Dance, Youth, 6th place.
  • 2017 — National Dance Sport Championship, 10-Dance, Adults, 5th place.
  • 2018 — National Under 21 Latin Championship, 3rd place; National 10-Dance Championship, 2nd place.
  • 2018 — Romanian Cup: 2nd place in Latin and 6th place in Standard.
  • 2019 — Romanian Cup, Latin, 3rd place.

International results

  • 2017 — WDSF Dance Masters, Rising Star Latin, 3rd place.
  • 2017 — WDSF Transylvanian Grand Prix: Rising Star Latin, 3rd place; Rising Star Standard, 6th place.
  • 2012–2020 — finalist and medalist at international competitions on the World Dance Sport Federation circuit.
  • 2011–2014 — European champion and world vice-champion in salsa show, solo male.
